The Multidyne NBX-5.1-DMX-PCM-3G provides a unique solution for broadcast use to down mix an SDI embedded 5 point 1 audio signal Mono or stereo.
The NBX-5 point 1-DMX-PCM-3G accepts an SDI signal and provides one reclocked output. A separate SDI output is provided after Audio processing.
Selecting the mode for the audio outputs is done via recessed mounted DIP switches.
Two LED’s located on the front of the unit provide a status indication that a valid SDI signal is present on the SDI input along with a second L E D indicating if audio is present in the SDI signal for up to eight channels of audio. If a valid SDI signal is present the SDI LED will be illuminated green if a valid SDI signal is not present the LED will be illuminated red.
The LED will be illuminated green if audio is present in those groups.
Power is provided to the NBX-5.1-DMX-PCM-3G using the included 5 Volt DC adapter that uses a threaded locking DC power connector for added protection against loss of power.
